Clashmore Kennels

My name is Lisa Mc Grath and with my family we run Clashmore Boarding Kennels.

We have seven dogs of our own, some of which you will see on this website. Our dogs are part of our family and we know how important it is to know that your family member is well looked after while you are away.

We keep in stock a large variety of food (Beta, Oscar, Gain, Kaskro, etc.) to try and please every appetite. However, if your dog is on a special diet then you are more than welcome to bring along your own food.

At our kennels every dog has their own separate kennel with an outdoor run (if you have two or more dogs that you would like to be kennelled together, then this is possible as we have some large kennels purposely constructed for this reason). Each kennel has its own outside run. Aside from that, we also have a number of all weather outside runs where your dog is free to exercise and play.

Heating:

All our kennels can be heated for any puppy or housedog that needs that extra bit of comfort. We supply our own bedding, but any favourite blanket, basket or toy is more than welcome to come along with your pet while on holiday.

Weather permitting, we also give your dog a country walk every day. This we find allows us to build a trusting and friendly relationship with your dog.

Medication:

If your dog needs to be given medication, we have a lot of experience of dealing with dogs with particular needs and we would be only too happy to help continue his medication while he is with us. We welcome them always and there are very special visitors to us always

Vaccinations:

If you are thinking of kennelling your dog with us, please ensure that your dog is fully vaccinated, including kennel cough vaccination.

We are very strict on vaccinations and will not accept any dog into the kennels without an up to date vaccination card – This is for your dog’s safety, as well as other dogs in our kennels

Viewing:

If you would like us to look after you dog, then please come and view our kennels first. We will gladly show you around. Please do book a time with us beforehand as we would not like our daily schedule in caring for boarders to be upset.
